Yes. We're all envious of the blatant lack of features, compatibility problems, worse glitches, and doubled price. That's why we hate apple, we're jealous about the AMAZING DEAL apple fanboys get.

And I'd like to elaborate on the "worse glitches" comment to pre-empt the inevitable flaming. PC glitches generally tend to be more common and annoying, but I've never in my entire life had or heard of a PC just shutting itself down and wiping its entire hard drive. Which I've heard (even from apple fanboys) is a fairly common glitch in apple products. In fact, my ipod has wiped itself clean already. Twice. (I've had it 4 years, but the first time it wiped itself, I lost half my music library because I didn't have a backup. Because I assumed my apple product wouldn't suddenly implode. A mistake I won't (and didn't) make twice.)

exactly right! I never new sony to be as arrogant as Apple ever. I mean, except for charging high prices for everything, but even that aspect of Apple is far from the worst thing about them.

[citation][nom]TA152H[/nom]Apple has never been very inventive, outside of the original floppy disk controller for the Apple II, but you're quite right about them using newer technology that existed in their products before other companies. This includes the GUI/Mouse, SCSI, NuBus, Apple II with slots, 3.5 inch floppy, etc...I will give you credit for pointing out Unix is obsolete, and giving both sides, which most people don't do because they just want to win an argument rather than being even-handed and correct. To Apple's credit though, the hide the ugliness of Unix better than anyone, but, agreed it's still slapping lipstick on a pig. But at least Apple adds mascara.[/citation]

Might want to check your history. Xerox was the first to use a GUI and a Mouse. Xerox was the original creator of the GUI and mouse...both of which Apple stole, then tried to sue MS over. Apple survives because MS keeps paying their bills.
