Oh, wait, they don't need it. You think it's an accident drug smuggling coyotes get across the border? Do you think we don't have the military presence to prevent it? Drug cartels, much like corporations, pay better than your tax dollars.
This really isn't even a blow to Sony. Only people very familiar with the song would recognize the stripped down sampling presented in the commercial. Anon gets to snicker at their private joke and Sony still sells millions.
To those saying Anonymous are terrorists, you're right in the sense of public definition. Anyone who disagrees with the government these days is a "terrorist". With your rights being robbed from underneath you daily, someday you'll be a terrorist too if you don't agree with what the feds tell you.
But on the literal definiton of the crime:
"the term 'terrorism' means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents"
By definition, they are not terrorists. Terrorism is not inconveniencing your every day lives. Terrorism is not preventing you from playing PS3 for a month, taking down a web site for 10 minutes, protesting without a permit to protest, or even stealing personal information. These are separate crimes committed by individuals, and only individuals deserve the charges.
