maybe not... but when android released, tethering wasn't a big buzz thing that most cared about. Now it is important... so any new OS coming out should support it as soon as it's released.

But it's not just tethering, but some of the other "features" that are being left out.

So tethering only became important these last 4 months, because only android 2.2 and forward support it. The feature will most likely make an appearance on WP7 it just won't be available at launch.

Its a little disconcerting that there are that many features from my current WM phone that are not in WP7... I use the tethering all the time, both with the usb cable and bluetooth. In fact, I'm happy enough with it that I just use it for my internet service at home and on the go. Not that I am really a fan of windows mobile or anything, I liked the features of the phone and it just happened to be windows mobile. It does seem like MS is taking a step backwards here though

...and this is why microsoft should generally be avoided. They're tied too closely to "traditional" big business to do anything truly innovative, drastic or good for consumers.

Oh and: An-droid! An-droid! An-droid!

Only 4 months?... you sir, need to research when Android was first used. derp.

Am I to understand that what I do now on my ATT Pure Win 6.5, teethering with no cost, is not in 7? In 6.5 I changed a registry entry and teether with no problem to my win 7 netbook and pay att not one dime for this feature.
