Sound and Video

I can't afford a new laptop, so I need a hand knowing what to have repaired on my acer. About a year ago it crashed, I re-installed windows, and now it is fine... ish. It doesn't play any sound, however it detects the sound as being there, as the little sound thing moves, it isn't the speakers as playing through ear phones doesn't work either. Video is lagged, It either plays in slow motion, or is very freezey or jumpy - and that isn't just youtube or anything like that, it is all videos and filming. so please may somebody tell me what is wrong, and what i need to replace/do with it please.

I have installed a new Audio system,and uninstalled my old one. Nothing...

Hi, what is your model number of your Acer? For the problem of your slow videos, maybe you need to clean the fan.

my model number is KAWF0 - Acer Aspire - i'll try cleaning the fan, however i doubt this is it, as when i play on PC games, the video for that is fine.

I was thinking the lag comes from the CPU which is too hot, and it is decreasing the speed to compensate the heat. But in your game you have no sound also.
