I want to connect a power amplifier to my sound bar so i can run some speakers outdoors. Any suggestions on how to do this?

So your intent is to take some audio output on the sound bar and send that to the amplifier and then to the speakers outdoors - correct?

You must match the power amplifier to the speakers outdoors.

And likewise you must match the physical connections (sound bar to amplifierand amplifier to outdoor speakers).

Start by reading this tutorial from within this forum:

Then work out and diagram what you believe is correct and post accordingly.

Do you have any specifications for the soundbar, amplifier, and outdoor speakers. That information will be helpful. Thanks.

Unless your soundbar has a built in source (like an radio) you don't need to connect the amp to the soundbar. You need to connect it to the source that feeds the soundbar. If the source has two outputs (optical and analog) then use one for each. If not then you can split the analog out to both the soundbar and amp. If you needed a wireless feed for the amp then a transmitter would connect to one of the outputs.
