sound blaster live x-gamer is recognized as value

I upgraded my sound drivers and my sb live x-gamer was detected as a a sb live value. Curse them! does anyone know how to correct this? I tried reinstalling my driver and using different ones. I am using xp and I wonder if this card is all the way compatible with it, I remember I had lots of problems when it first came out...

Isn't the only difference between the two the software bundle associated with them? I think so... X-Gamer comes with games, MP3 comes with music crap, and Value comes with nothing. I'm sure it should cause no problems.
