Sound but no picture!

Hi,

Currently have a 6 year old 40" Philips LED TV and yesterday it was working fine. However, today I got no picture but I do have sound. When I put a flashlight on it I see very vaguely some picture.

What is broken? And is it worth it to repair?

Sounds like the LCD panel is working but the LED backlight is not. Check here for parts and help.
