skip Xonar, it's got some serious issues if you look up asus forums, besides Asus support is non-existant

You could pick up an OEM Creative X-Fi Extreme Music for around $50

the asus only has issues with games , fine for movies and music , so if your on a budget then xonar dx 7.1 is fine
