sound card

I am thinking about getting some new speakers for my computer. I'm leaning towards some Logitech z-5300e. Right now i am just using onboard sound, i was wonder if i should get a new sound card or if the onboard is good enough. If i should get a new card what do you suggest? I have an XFX nforce 650i ultra motherboard.

i suggest you to get a sound card, a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic will be good.

The reason I think Creative is succesful on thier cards is that they do best in audio gaming and good on home audio.

There's more sound card out there but they're not design for gaming. example - E-MU.
