Question sound emission from laptop while its charging

hp pavilion 360 ,when my laptop is charging when its turn off it keeps on emitting a very slight sound , this sound is different when it is charging while the laptop is in a sleep mode , the sound here come and go along very short intervals ,it does not emit any sound when its turned on but it heats alot and it leaks energy from the battery when its turned off around 1% every 2.5 hours , what do yo think is the problem , could it need ic power replacment ?

It sounds like your laptop is not really "off" but is in "sleep" mode. In sleep mode, it will continue to draw a small amount of power. Are you running Windows 10?
