Sound issue on HDMI

Hi

I have a SONY BRAVIA Kvl - 40R482b Tv and a laptop with Windows 7
I connected my laptop to the TV using HDMI port
Video plays awesome on TV. But sound gets played on the laptop.

Can you help me on this??

There are already some threads about it out there but if you had the same problem none of those threads address it.
First you need to check if it's not only disabled. If it is you only have to right click the sound icon -> playback devices -> right click -> show disabled and enable it.
The problem that no one address is that it might not even appear there, if it doesn't then you probably have a problem with your drivers (i'm not certain if it's a conflict with another driver or if it's just missing drivers), what worked for me was installing the Intel sound drivers.
