Solved! Sound issue when using my Vizio as my Monitor.

I have my Vizio plugged into my video card through HDMI. I'm listening to music or a movie it's fine, but when I close it and open something else I have no sound. Or even if I leave something paused for a couple minutes i'll lose sound. I have to go through playback devices, disable and re-enable it for sound to come back on. Any thoughts? Thanks

I would suspect drivers. Make sure your sound / MB drivers are all up to date...
