Hi,
I have had this problem for a while.
I have a desktop computer, and have been using headphones. Only the right side of the speakers work. I assumed the headphones were broken. I recently bought a soundbar and connected that up. Again, the sound only comes out of the right side of the soundbar.
I tried connecting my phone (via bluetooth) to the soundbar, and sound comes out of both sides. This made me think that it was a driver problem, so I updated my motherboard audio drivers from the following link
http/www.msi.com/product/motherboard/support/970-GAMING.html#down-driver&Win10 64
However this has not made a difference.
My specifications:
Motherboard : MSI 970 gaming AM3+ motherboard
Graphics card: MSI GTX 970
RAM: 16GB
Processor: AMD FX-6300
I am connecting the devices to the back of the motherboard (i don't have a separate sound card and have tried different ports)
