How would I go about hooking a Pioneer VSX-D814 Receiver to a modern TV? I was thinking of using an RCA video cord, would it work? And also, what would be a good way to boost its radio reception? Any amazon links or descriptions would be much appreciated! Thank You!

Solution
If your TV has an digital audio out then use that. There are two types, coax or optical. Your receiver has both. The coax digital connection could be done with an RCA composite video cable. The other requires a toslink optical cable.
If the TV only has analog audio or headphone out then use that with an stereo RCA cable. You might need one with a stereo mini plug at the TV end.
