Soundcraft CPS 450 caps

Where can I find the caps to recap this unit. My service guy says they are not made anymore and the PSU will have to be redesigned and modified to get the current Caps to work???

sounds like it's time to find a new service guy. Pretty much any capacitor can be purchased from Digikey or several other suppliers. It is kind of questionable when a tech tells you to redesign and modify to get caps to work. This sounds like a scam job more than a repair job.

It's to be hoped your problem has been resolved by now. However if you are in the market for a spare Soundcraft CPS 450/b (with the SRC connector) for future-proofing, then I'm selling one. It's from a closed radio station sadly and it needs a new home. Email me if you're interested.
