rd: there's a 10 pin connector on ebay right now, it is listed as
'soundcraft power supply cable' i think.

On the back it says 175VA / 175 watts max. I have heard it said that
one problem these boards had is that the were under-powered. They no
longer make the original PS for this Delta series, so what they did
was give me the current model with a cable modified to work with the
Delta, it has the same 5 pin connector that you describe. I think
that the CPS 250 might be the same unit they use with the 24 channel
boards. I'm sure you could find out more details from Harmon, maybe
even on their website.

You have a power transformer that has some loose windings. You would
need to replace it, re-capping won't help. Lots of these English power
transformers fall apart over time from being drawn on too heavily.
Better yet, replace it with a Power One HDD-15-5A, 5 amp supply. $150
from Digi-Key. Add the small 1/2 amp 48 volt and wire it to the
connector.

Hi,
I also purchased a delta200 and am loving it! I purchased it from the US with channels 1,2,3 and 4 modded as well as the master. Basically they used the highest quality amps from National. These reduced the noise floor substantially which automatically allowed for higher/more quiet gain. They also added among other things black gate caps which helped provide some of the great sound. Then theirs resistors etc right down to the solder used. I would like to finish the mods off in Sydney. Does anyone know where I can get the mods and upgrade the amps in Sydney Australia?

thanks
