soundproofing a large basement with a 2 stairways and hallway

This is not a tech based question but for ideas.

i want to soundproof my family basement so i can record videos, my family basement is big, and i have a hallway and 2 flights of stairs. one to my bedroom and one to the living room and i do receive sound coming from the basement to the living room and downstairs bedroom. and my parents however doesn't want to hear my narration.

Is there a way to soundproof the room, hallway and stairs?

Note: i must not hear from the downstairs and living room at all.

If you want to be really cheap and size doesn't matter you could always build a poor mans sound booth.

it is like foam or a carpet, goes glued to the walls, it absorbs sound produced by you so avoids unwanted echoes and helps with noise generated outside the room

if the place is really big, you could consider building a small room inside there using drywal or somethign like that, then inside the room do your records, put the material inside and outside, should be better than buibng lots of that material to cover what sounds to be 2 large rooms on that basement

then you need to do one of the two options i mentioned, the small room or make a semiclosed desktop with lots of foam around the desktop and the walls behind it

I suppose, if there are no doors, install some, I don't know whether you can buy doors with sound deadening materials in them.

Narration? you have to talk that loud? wear a lapel mic then you don't have to shout.

If the room is that big, maybe some sort of 1-person chamber you can build within the room so you don't have to trouble yourself soundproofing the whole room?

i wouldn't buy the doors with the material already aplied, surely will not be cheap, so better buy the material and install it by yourself, the second image i posted shows a normal door with the material applied, obth the red one with foam and the gray one with the carpet type material

anyone has watched mxr videos? he does the basic stuff, a bit of material in the wall and a big blanket type thing to absorb noise/echoes from the back wall and the rest of the room

that is what most youtubers do

others do a wall in front of them covered with foam, behind them a sort of panel or a partial drywall wall behind them

take for example pewdiepie, he uses that and a good microphone filer, that is for talking but you are gaming so you need a really good headset, not that mic with filter

the partial division/wall behind is great for placing stuff related to games and if you get sponsored, ads from the sponsors
