So I have a fairly small room where I basically do everything in there, and one of the things I love to do the most is play video games late at night with my buddies but the thing is my whole family can hear me talking to them and hear my clicking of my keyboard! It's not like I talk very loud but I talk kinda quietly most of the time. So I was wondering what are multiple solutions that I can do to kind of soundproof my room to where my family can't hear me game?

Yeah foam might be easier to use rather than using a whole lot of pins to hold the weight of a rug or blanket.

Adhesive hooks or stickers could use to stick foam to the wall.

Cosmetic looks will be ordinary but if it works.

Need to find out if having lots of foam along your wall in the open like that might be harmful to your health breathing it in. Im not sure do check.

Proper way of soundproofing is done inside the walls but in your case doubt you be doing any renovations.

Something soft so the sound is absorbed. Maybe hang a planket on the side your parents are on might help a little.

A quieter keyboard might be an option.

There's not really a lot you can do with minimal effort
