I don't understand why people think Anonymous are some champions of freedom...they are not. They are anarchists and the ultimate hypocrites:
So some major credit card processors say: "we won't take donations for WikiLeaks" - which is there right, and they get shut down by Anonymous for exercising their freedom.
Because youtube removed many music videos, Anonymous uploads porn hidden sometimes disguised as children's videos. Again, the company has the right to do it.
A kid creates a no cussing club. Anonymous leaks his personal information. The kid gets the usual hate mail, death threats, etc.

Ya, these are really pressing matters of liberty and freedom. I sure want a bunch of young, global, hacking kids deciding what should and should not be allowed for society.

Freedom to Anonymous is whatever they feel it should be and not actually based on reality or other people's notions. Anonymous feels they have the freedom to stop, interrupt, or harass other people's freedoms. Again, these guys anarchists. Anonymous had two major attacks on Church of scientology and Sony.

Both corporations - sorry one is a religion with a range of courses on offer for a nominal fee. but both groups can fight ANY individual and win. They win not because they are right but because they can afford massive legal teams to attack people with. The sheer legal cost of defending yourself will bankcrupt you even if you "win" in court. All sides know this and this is how they can silence people. It has nothing to do with who is right, free trade or justice and everything to do with who can afford the most lawyers.

Who can take on organisations like this?? only a really powerful rich organisation-
or an anonymous one.

PS In Britian if any group or individual sues someone and looses that group/individual has to pay the court costs of the person they tried to sue as well as their own court costs. - (scientology is smaller and has more open critics in the uk - coincidence ??)

What is funny is...Anonymous not just 3 people. I've been on their forums reading about how they do stuff, i watched them fight among each other. They can't stop them, Anonymous is made up of people all around the world. Not just spain, Hell hath no fury then a Anon scorn. I'm all about total internet freedom. A lot of people ignore that Sony sold a product then decided to steal features from it, Anonymous was making them pay for it.

The reason people turned on Sony: they held personal and credit information in an unencrypted word file. Essentially, they had millions of people's Names Addresses Phone Numbers and Credit Card information written out on a piece of paper and posted on a wall in their building. Anyone getting into that building could read it and copy it. But don't worry, if you stop buying their PS3s that file will disappear right?!? RIGHT?!?!

No. It won't. Stopping buying products from a company doesn't make them stop performing actions. Performing an action against them that will cost them a lot of money will: i.e. Lawsuits. How do you make a lawsuit against Sony without evidence? You can't. You have to tear the evidence from their hands and broadcast it on national television so they get everyone's attention.

er well they have gained publicity for those who support wikileaks when some major news corporations were demanding the death penalty for leaks.
they have forced sony to back down on prosecuting playstation hacker george hotz from suing to out of court settlement ( stop hacking sony stuff and we won't sue you).
they have back scientology into a corner and become leading critics and exposing the methods and deceptions that scientology "allegedly" uses.

Fact sony server for sony pictures that was hacked all the information was stored in plain text for username, passwords what kind security is that maybe the hackers are trying to point out that sony needs to hire REAL security people to take care of security and not some high school kids or pizza techs.
As to the hacking who ever setup those servers have no clue what they are doing those SQL servers should have been patched YEARS ago hello talk about lazy.
In a place that large they should have been running a corporate WSUS server to auto patch those security updates looks like sloppy business practices to me.
