speaker connections to amp

hello i have 1200watt amplifier it has 4ohm 8ohm and 16ohm output
my question is can i connect to 8ohm speaker to 8 ohm pin and com pin and connect 4 ohm speaker to 4ohm pin and com at a time?

You can but the impedance mismatch may damage the amp. When connecting two speakers ensure you use the same impedance for both.

Would be useful to know what make and model amp but in general no you can't do that.
You can use any single combination of common and impedance. To maximize power transfer you use the closest match to the speaker but sometimes you get better sound using an different tap on the transformer. Can't hurt to try them.
