Speaker hookup to TV

I have 2 Bose speakers that were connected to a computer. What do I need to connect these to my HDTV - and how do I do it? I don't have a home theater, just a TV Thank you for your attention to my question. Donna

Your TV probably has an optical digital audio output so if the Bose speakers (which have to be self powered - they have to plug into the wall for AC power) have this input then you just need a Toslink optical cable. If the Bose only have an analog audio input you will need a digital to analog converter and the appropriate cables.
If you use a set top box for your TV then you can connect the Bose to that instead.
