speaker is not audible

I bought a new asus a555l laptop before two days but suddenly my speaker is not working in my lappy speaker is not audible... help me to come out with this problem

Well you could try checking the volume settings. Right click on the "Speaker" icon on the task bar. Then click on "Open Volume Mixer". Check all the volume levels for whatever program you have open and using, as well as the master volume.

If that doesn't resolve it, and it is that new, I would take it back and get them to replace it with one that doesn't have problems.
