Speaker issue, sound is played on other laptop instead on mine.

Hi,
My Asus laptop having a weird issue on playing sound. My friend has a Sony laptop, Whenever we both uses our laptop the sound which should suppose to be heard in my laptop while watching a movie is heard from my friends laptop. I can only hear it from mine if he is not using his laptop. It seems to be a weird issue. Anyone having any ideas?

Maybe a blutooth link? Does it still happen if he is on the other side of the house but still has the laptop on?
