Hello

The speaker on my ipaq h5550 plays very soft is there a way to get more applification the volume is full blast! On my ipaq h3970 it is clear as a bell!

Sorry but that's as loud as it will get. The speaker in your 5550 is
smaller than the one in th 3970 which is why it's not as loud.

I have the same problem!! its a well know issue - All HP
have to say it that this is the way it is designed! All
the new pocket Pc's are quieter due to the size of
speaker..! Problem is you cant hear alarms (if they
actually go off) and end up missing appointments!

It's true the volume is too low!! but you can increase some sound like
alarms : you can choose a sound and by pc you can make it louder and then
send it back to pocketpc and set it for alarm.
