This is somewhat related to my earlier post...
During my discussion with CSR, we also discussed phones.
We are situated in a so-called rural area, and frequently people
who have anything other than Verizon have no service here.
Anyway, we currently have two phones on our existing Verizon
service, a StarTac and a Motorola V2260. The StarTac used
to be GREAT here, but over the past few months, we have
been roaming in places we didn't, and we are experiencing way
more dropped calls then we used to. Not so much on the V2260
though. We often find ourselves in analog mode also, when driving
through the back roads.
I tell the CSR all this, and he looks at me with a blank look on
his face, like I was nuts. What I was hoping to get from him was
some suggestions on what phones would be the best choice for
us. We will most likely upgrade both phones and acquire 2 additional
phones when we renew our contract in August.
One additional note, one of the phones needs to have a very visible
screen as the person using it has some problems with their eyesight.
Any ideas on what I should or should not be looking for in a phone?
In case this is relative, we are in zip 16412 which is Edinboro PA...
As usual, I appreciate any comments and/or suggestions you may have.
