Spontaneous Battery Percentage.

Hello everyone,

I have been seeing an odd behavior of my laptop as of late. I have a new Asus Rog GL1551vw that I got a week ago. As of today the battery has been acting strange. Having it not plugged in and just doing some normal web browsing, it instantly went from 70% battery life, down to 18%. At this moment the Energy Saver kicked in. A few minutes later it jumped back up to 68%.

Has anyone seen or heard of us? The only thing I could think of is some sort of bug on Windows 10 where it miscalculates the amount of battery life I have left.

I have not heard of such an issue, however, if this is a brand new device, it shouldn't give you 'any' problems. I would contact the place of purchase or manufacturer and find out what is going on with it.
