SSD and Adobe

Just built a new PC to run Adobe and Avid, then found out that Adobe is not currently compatible with SSDs like the one at the heart of my new system. I'm going to be picking up a pair of raptors on my next check and I suppose that I could install the software on to them instead of my main SSD, but I'm not sure if there will be any drawbacks.

What indicates that Adobe (Photoshop? Illustrator? After Effects?) isn't fully compatible with SSDs? I don't see anything wrong with installing Adobe on your planned raptors.
