I am trying to switch my harddrive to an ssd in my toshiba satellite l50-a-16h the ssd is a kingston kc400.
The old hard drive still runs and the computer works fine on it it is just getting slower and probably dying sooner or later.
But when i plug my ssd in to try and instal windows i get an error saying no media present.
When opening the bios the drive is visible and in the correct place.
If i plug the ssd in to my desktop it works fine so no problems there.
I am out of ideas i hope someone can help.

i will try, just take a bit because i don't own such a cable so have to order one.
