Static Noises thru Headset.

Alright, I've ignored this for a while until I realized I didn't even have the headset set up correctly. Once I set the speakers to default speakers and found out the amp on it worked, I was stoked. Until that noise was heard. It was a loud, stationary noise. I have Turtle Beaches (PX22s) and I'm very happy with them, so if you're not a fan, please don't go on and on about how bad the headset is. I've taken note that it is loudest with another USB plugged into the front slot (I usually have my PS3 controller in 24/7 for emulators) Please, help me Obi Tom, you're my only hope.

Do u hav another set of headphones to try? Do u still get the noise?

Is the static constant or when you use for a mouse? Try moving the USB amp to another port. I suggest a rear port coming straight from the mobo.

I've taken another note: The noise still happens even with front USB empty other then headset

Hav u tried the heaphone socket on the back of yo PC rather than the front?

No worries - I presume that worked then!! The front sockets are part of your case, so check the wiring from your case to your motherboard. And of course if at some point u got a new case, u'd b able t use the front sockets again
