SteelSeries Siberia V3 microphone not working

Hello, I got a new computer, and now my SteelSeries Siberia V3 with a 4-pole jack mic won't work.
The mic works on other computers, but I can't make it work on this one.
I tried buying a 4-pole to 2x 3-pole splitter in case the pc don't support 4-pole, but it didn't work either.
The pc recieves a mic-signal when i clap the "earmuffs" together, but when I speak it recieves nothing or a very low signal.

Any help would be appreciated!

I just built my own pc, and got everything to work except from the mic. The headset is a Steelseries headset with a single 4 pole jack. The pc don't have a external sound card, so i tried to plug it straight into the motherboard sound plug. I got sound through the headset, but the mic didn't work. I searched for answers all over the web, and some people said i had to buy a splitter, so i did. When plugging it in i still have sound, but my mic still didn't work as intended. TO getr sound i had to talk into the speakers instead of into the mic.
I have used the headset for a year now on other computers without any issues, and when i plug it into another laptop it works with or without the splitter. I have tried every option within the realtek hd audio manager without any success.
The moderboard is a H110M PRO-VH, and i don't remember the full name of the headset. Based on design it looks like a steelseries siberia 200 with a single 4 pole jack.
(Don't think the other specs should be relevant)
Anything that can work?
