Yes. It's the absolute right things when Jobs can control the entire apple market...thanks to his superior moral values. Hopefully someday I can grow up to be just like him...NOT. He's greedy, and porn isn't really the issue, it's called freedom. I have the freedom to walk up to the white house and b*tch about how much our gov sucks...am I going to do it? It's not NECESSARILY specifically about the porn, it's the concept that Apple controls/restricts what you have access to. You know, this thing called freedom to choose what I access for myself

The lack of porn on the app store doesn't deter me from buying any future iPhone's. I'm not a porn addict and I don't have any desire to see any pornography on the go. If I did there is app for it already; it's called Safari. I do find the idea of Apple being the "moral police" a bit troubling but in its current form it isn't too much for to jump ship. There might come a time when the App Store policies have become too restrictive for me and I'll stop buying iPhones but that moment hasn't happened yet. Not allowing porn on the App Store doesn't bother me at all.

I'm just really not all that interested in the alternatives. I do like Android and I've had experience with several Android devices but the best thing going for them is their list of hardware specs and features, not how they implement them. The Android App store also doesn't hold a candle to the iPhone App store at the moment.

Just my opinion on the matter and judging by the rabid anti-Apple fanclub here at Tom's I would say I'm in the minority but I just don't care if Apple blocks porn.

The argument that he is greedy doesn't hold water considering that Apple could make tons of money from ad supported porn apps. Also, you have the freedom to use the best app available for porn. It's provided by Apple. It's called Safari.

Actually...I'm pretty sure he got some kind of bribe from sports illustrated and playboy to kick off the other 'porn' distributors... I'd call that greed...either block em all or don't go shooting morality bs out of your blowhole.

Freedom from government is one thing. This is a company choosing what products it allows on its database. He isn't attacking your american dream he is saying no porn on the iphone. There are many freedoms we choose to forfeit for a better life as a community. I personally think porn on a cell...though i might cave and use it, is not an option i would like to be available or promoted on a device that is mostly used publicly. I am guessing the founding fathers would have drawn the line with anal sex being watched on a phone as well.

Huge Props to Steve. I fully support keeping porn off the iPhone. It is sad to me that our culture has slipped so much from the times when pornography was a shameful thing to something that is widely supported and OKed. It's perverse and disgusting.

Sex is beautiful because sex is about love. Porn takes out all other elements and responsibilities of love and highlights lust. It makes it all about gratifying one's self, which is the polar opposite of what love is supposed to be.

Honestly, thank God for this. Porn in the App Store would just make the whole store and device trashy.
