Still no firewire in USA Thinkpads?

We're replacing our laptops. The last time we did this, we passed on
IBM's Thinkpads because they had no firewire support on their USA
models.

I've checked the IBM site and it seems this is still the case, which I find
strange.

Are there any Thinkpad models sold in the US with firewire ports?

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at the T series.
Do these have the 4-pin or the 6-pin firewire? Too
bad they only have a 12" screen. We'd want something
bigger.

4-pin unpowered.

That brings another question. Are there any PC-based
laptops that have a powered firewire connector like
the Mac does?

I just bought a T41 with a 14.1" screen. According to the IBM website, all
T models have that size screen:

Incorrect.

The T series models have screens from 12" to 15".

Check the T42.
