Stopped working after accidently changing the settings:input

I bought a 72mx196 tv (used) and I got home and turned it on. I pulled up the menu and was in the settings and must have changed something because now the screen in dark and it acts as if it’s not turning on but the blue light comes on. I hooked a DVD player up turned it on and no audio or picture. It almost sounds like it is going to come on but then stops. Please help!!! How am I supposed to reset the settings if I can’t see the menu?!?!?!

I have the manual but I can’t find the answer. I read something on a forum about a hard reset but the menu screen doesn’t show up (nothing does) and I don’t know where the said reset button is on the control panel. I tried to call the customer service support number but it’s no longer in service.
