Straight talk does have phones that use verizon towers. I got a BYOP kit and it had a code for the verizon phone. Sprint and verizon uses cdma phones. ATT and t-mobile use GSM phones.

If you get a sprint phone and put it on straight talk will it run off of verizon towers ?

I think that you can get a sprint sim card.

No, been pulling my hair out for days only to find out a Sprint phone runs on Sprint towers.
Same SIM card, same APNs, same horrendous service.
