Stuck at the login screen!

When I boot up my laptop, I click on my account, but I can't press anything! Help! I'm stuck at the login screen.

Version: Windows 8
Laptop: HP Envy x360

Can't press anything as in...you can't type your password to log in? Or you click on your account or on anything else?

You might've switched off your keyboard in error. Look for the corresponding fn key (ie hold fn and press the keyboard looking PF key).
