I find it mostly useless, babies and toddlers are annoying, don't push your burden on the internet. Sure it's ok if you want to email a picture to another family member, but for everyone else, it is noise. Especially when people put the crap on youtube and because the idiots use a ton of unrelated keywords and stupid names, you always see those crappy videos even when you are searching for unrelated things. Random crap dealing with babies and stuff should be left for social networks where the info can be kept private or email where it is limited to people you know, instead of public for the world to be annoyed at.

i have a 2 year old and never post any pictures of them online. i rarely post there name or even there gender. though my mother does post pictures of them online. and i always ask her to remove names and only refer to them as there grandchild.

this day in age you have to monitor and protect your children more then you ever have before. its the same as "don't talk to strangers", or "look both ways when you cross the street.". my little one is just getting out of the phase (thank god) of grabbing random peoples hands and walking off with them. little one eventually gets the "hey your a stranger look", but if that stranger knew her name from a picture on the mothers facebook page.... oh you said mama. you know who i am.. ok you must be ok.

Putting your kid on a YouTube video is one thing but on Facebook for example with their own profile and information etc it's complete non sense. It demonstrate the complete ignorance those parents have.

You can always put your kid on your own profile picture etc but at least restrict you privacy settings. It's strange because some people think that stuff on the internet is as safe as if you put it in a physical album. They says yes they know the difference until something bad happen to their kid. Oh well you can't cure stupidity.

Really, guy? Pretty ignorant to not recognize the glaring difference between "Spanish" and "Hispanic." Either way, your statements are just sweeping, ill-informed generalizations that press home the point that bigotry, whether well or ill-intended, is still ignorant.
