Solved! Subwoofer is not receiving signal? I have an av surround receiver av-r720

I have the front and center speakers hooked up and set to small and the subwoofer set to yes, but nothing is coming out of the subwoofer. Any ideas? I touched the end of the input/output cable connected to the active subwoofer and could hear the sound coming out of it so im guessing the problem is with the receiver?

Which receiver and how exactly did you hook all up? Which cables

The subwoofer output may not be on. Go into the AVR speaker menu and turn it on. Then adjust the woofer level to match the speakers.
