Subwoofer with Mackie Cr3s and aux output only

So I'm trying to create a basic audio setup with my Mackie Cr3s. I'm on a macbook pro which only has a single aux output. Im looking to add a subwoofer to my setup but can't figure out how to split the output from my macbook to the Mackies and the subwoofer so that the sub only gets the low frequencies and the mackies only get the higher frequencies (160+ Hz). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

Most subwoofers will have their own low pass built in.
or use an external USB sound card to provide separate high and low pass outputs.
