Suddenly no audio over HDMI when PC is connected to Marantz AVR-4

I recently moved my pc downstairs to take advantage of my bigger TV screen and surround sound setup, and it worked for a little while, (with minor glitches) but now all of a sudden I no longer have audio. In the playback device manager it shows that it is indeed playing audio but there is (obviously) no audio to speak of. Any tips?

Make sure the default playback device is still set to hdmi please.

I was doing that the entire time, also it turned out to be fixed by tweaking the settings a little bit.
