Suggest me a good smartphone(android), with features like 5 MP camera, 1 GB RAM, 1 GHz or better processor for better gaming & good battery life within Rs.9000.

Try out phones by Lenovo too. They are good too. I do not know much about the after sales and the software updates that will follow (Samsung does not even update firmware of the lower end phones much). But you can consider phones by Lenovo. Then there is Samsung, if you do not like Lenovo.

Recently switched from an HTC phone (Android) to Nokia (WP8.1) phone and I am loving the clutter free OS. You can give that a try. Not as open as Android, but gets by job done. No more hangs or anything.
Although it is a Chinese phone, I can recommend Tronsmart TS7 Glacier. I own this one since November 2013 and it is plenty fast, with extremely good battery life (you also get two of them in the package!). Has stock Android 4.2.2, no bloatware, no Chinese apps, clean as a whistle. But be prepared to live with this stock OS, since no upgrades are available to 4.3 or 4.4, and I somehow don't think they ever will be.

BTW, it was 150 USD recently... now on discount, 100 USD. A steal.

I gave my vote for the Nexus S. Greatcamera and flash, decent processor and performance, 4" screen, and a decent battery. I don't like that it is the lack of a microSD card slot.

Samsung Galaxy s duos 2 S7582- android 4.2.1.2ghz,717 ram,4 inch,5mp is a preety good phone for the price.
spice steller pinnacle PRO mi-535- Android 4.2,1.2ghz,ram 1gb,5.3 inch,8 mp
HTC Desire 310 Dual sim- android 4.2,1.3 ghz quad, ram 512mb,4.5 inch,5mp rather old phone but will be ok.
