I'm looking to replace/upgrade my current collection (Sony ECM-44Bs)
and was wondering if anybody has any recommendations, good and/or bad,
on any of the following lavs. Thanks.

Sanken COS11
Tram TR-50BPS
Countryman B-6
Countryman EMW
Sennheiser MKE2

These are all very good mics. The COS11 is the quietest, in our tests
with the Lectrosonics SM transmitter, and the B6 with the red band was
the noisiest, with the MKE2 in between. The MKE tends to have a
somewhat "bright" sound that many people like and many don't. To my
ear, the B6 is the most natural-sounding on your list. Have you checked
into DPA?

All this being said, you don't say what your application is or anything
else about your criteria.

Thanks for the feedback Karl. Much appreciated.
Sorry for forgetting to mention my application is mainly talking heads
such as on-camera interviews.
BTW, great company you work for. I've been a customer for over 10
years and recommend them to anyone looking for a good wireless.
