No, but I have a few DSi's a couple more pairs of hands nailed up on my wall.

So... when exactly was the PS3 supposed to take off in sales again? It seems to be competing with the PS2 for sales more than anything. Maybe it'll do better right after that price cut they keep putting off.

Thanks to the price cut to $99, the ever-present PlayStation 2
is the top selling Sony console of month with 172,000, managing to outsell the PS3, which did 127,000 for the month.

This is a sad sign for SONY.

I have a PS3 and it collects a lot of dust. I got it when I was in the market for a Blueray player and found out Madden was not going to be released on PC anymore. Judging buy the amount of bluerays vs DVD's I buy I should have just bought a PS2 or XBOX Arcade and used the USB controller for the computer that I play 99% of my games on anyhow. Owe well at least madden should be released on it for the foreseeable future.

to be clear here, ps3's main competition isn't with wii but 360 and it's vice versa for 360. there is no one competing with nintendo. nintendo is the only video game company left and they're the only ones who know how to make a video game console and video game software.

wii sales will go crazy when motion plus is released.

You must be retarded. The Wii is just a repackaged and slightly overclocked GameCube with a DVD drive. And most of it's games are downright laughable.

My younger brother saved up and got a Wii. I can honestly say that it has some insanely fun games that the graphical advantage of the PS3 and X360 just can't make up for.

I really don't understand the big fuss about the DSi. Is there anyone out there who invested in a DSi (having previously owned a DS Lite) and can tell me if it's actually worth ditching the GB slot?

The Wii isnt gaming, its a marketing gimmick. Of the eight or so friends I know that bought it almost half wish they hadnt and the rest only play it intermittenly. My sister used to own one and while fun for a week I quickly went back to my PC. All we see here is a case of more and more people that dont actually play videogames getting on the bandwagon of "My Friend said it was awesome"

But yeah, the gist is that the DSi ditches the GBA slot and sacs some of the battery life to be a more multifunctional device with web browsing. If I'm not mistaken Toms released an article highlighting the differences a bit ago.


And mcnugget, all I can say is that if you play some of the better titles on the wii and then go back to playing similar games on a normal console...the difference is painful and the prettier graphics don't make up for it enough.

RE4wii edition, vs. RE5 on 360

Both are great games, but the play control on the wii is soooooo nice. Metroid, or any FPS on the wii has great play control (having a pointing device vs. using a stick is simply devine and not at all suprising). The balance board plus snowboarding is a blast.

A lot of games are gimick games or party games...but that has its place too...I can invite over friends and play mario party (or turn it into a drinking game) and everyone has a good time, rayman, same thing, wii sports, same thing.

I thuroughly agree it doesn't have enough high profile titles released regularly, and it has waaaaay too many crap titles that get in the way. But the concept is good, and on well made games it just shines. I love my 360 and the point that it litterally replaced my living room PC, but I many times wished it had the wii control scheme. Gears of war, halo, fable, RE5 would be that much better.

resident evil 5 is crap. capcom definitely could have done more to the game if they made it for the wii but they didn't and it's too bad because it's a missed opportunity for some great development ideas. capcom resorted to pretyy graphics over gameplay. the future of gaming, graphics over gameplay, dullness over creativity, laziness over passion. i hope people truly see the difference and know that if this continues the future is very bleak for gaming.

haha, I know the difference between the two, I just don't see why everyone is getting so hot and bothered about the "new and improved" version. Give me the GB slot over web browsing any day.
