i'm with u 110%. i bought my ps3 cuz it had built-in wifi. thats the only reason i chose it over the xbox 360. i really regret that decision... an xbox 360 arcade would have been alot cheaper and i could have used it without internet anyway. the only game i play on my ps3 is rock band, which isn't as fun as it used to be. i also play nhl 09, but i could have gotten that for pc too...

are you guys casual gamers or somthin? i just got a PS3 and can't stop playing it. I can find tons of games for it especially exclusives then the crashbox 360 which i do not regret getting because of its high failure rate. replacing a console under warrenty every few months is not worth the $199.00 price tag with a system that has the same games.

one of the points of releasing it every year is to update the teams and rosters and difficulties and dynamics of each team and how they play versus each other. obviously

sounds like you don't play sports games these days as well dude. all the major sports games now allow you to update the rosters and teams via internet or gamesaves. i think it was NBA 09 actually offered a cheap add-on that put one of the new NBA teams into the game too

@ pochacco007

I gotta disagree with you on multiple points but you are right on one issue, and thats that programming for the 360 is like programming for the PC. (and yes I've programmed for both)

It's not a question of lazyness it's about courting developers, and making an easy environment to work with. If you're not struggling with the console, it frees you up to spend time on making a good game.

And Sony is their own worst enemy, not MS or Nintendo

You are such a tool. Please name me 5 of these "exclusives" that you purchased the P$3 for? (that can be called truly excellent games)

A quick search gives you back a menu of D-list games that are "exclusives" for the P$3. Nothing in that list is really outstanding.

Seems like a waste of money for a console that doesn't give you anything worthwhile. Everybody else with a PC, 360, Wii, Atari 2600 can play the same games as your P$3.

Typical PS fanboy here. Most of those failures were from the 1st and 2nd run of the production model. It has been 3 years since then. Keep clinging to your justification for a 3rd rate console. And those 'same games' are built on the 360, and yours are ports. Sony's exclusives aren't the same as they were in 2000.

I had a PS2 for about 3 months, and I called it "My GTA Player". When the appeal for GTA was over, I traded it in for an Xbox 1.
