Surround vs. computer speakers vs. studio monitors

so i want to buy some new speakers for around 300 bucks and i was wondering which system would be the best quality for around that price, 5.1 surround, 2.1 computer speakers or monitors? What are the major differences between the three in terms of quality ad performance?

if you got room go for the logitech z-5500 5.1 setup , if spaces an issue then for 2.1 if you can find it cheap the razor mako system , as for monitors no idea tbh
