Surveillance software for laptop

What is a good program to use for my laptop for surveillance? I would like to leave my house and leave my laptop recording (with the built in webcam) video for 8 hours a day (and 8 hours of video needs to be under 100 gigs).

Try Vitamin D. You can make it record only when there's movement, so it saves space that way.
