Damn, I would use Match.com if I was still single. A 62% chance of getting some on the first date? Those are good odds. Do the chances go up if you rooted your Android?

Hipsters everywhere should take note: All those other self absorbed people you're sitting next to in the coffee shop are actually there to work on their "novel" rather than hooking up.

So I guess this is one more "advantage" that Android user has over Iphone iOS(as a guy point of view)?

Great! more reason to buy andriod over iphone. lol

They don't care about the actual statistics. This is free advertising for them. So and so did this outlandish survey and gullible news sites such as Tom's fall for it.

[citation][nom]ukee1593[/nom]I don't even own a mobile phone ... In your mind, is an Android or BlackBerry user supposed to blindly believe surveys put out on the internet?++ I don't own any Apple products either![/citation]

Well, ok then, my bad. But if you ever decide to get a mobile phone, may I recommend you to pick up an Android? ;-)

Galaxy Nexus, but Im married. Clearly I am not living up to my potential.

[citation][nom]ukee1593[/nom]LOLDid "Match.com" ever consider that people might have LIED during their survey? Here they are presenting their findings in a very serious tone ... Who would answer a questionnaire about their dating and sex life seriously? Most people who would bother with one of these surveys would be honest about it. [/citation]
Most people who would bother with one of these surveys would be honest about it. What this teaches us hardware enthusiasts is to always "go for the gold" right away, because the other participant wants it as much as you do, or maybe even more. If that's not enough to motivate you, remember the old saying - "if you're not getting it, someone else is."

[citation][nom]fuzzietech[/nom]Clearly, my friend, you are an iPhone user.[/citation]

I assumed he was an Android user. Who wants to be in the crowd who need dating sites to get laid?

[citation][nom]back_by_demand[/nom]Oh, point to note, every time there is story on Tom's to do with porn or sex the poster is always Jane McEntegart - why is that?[/citation]

Because she's fit, lol

The problem is, on match.com you tend to find desperate (ugly) people.

I guess the iPhone users have standards, so they don't take whatever they can 🙂

Well, the reason is iPhone users are too busy talking about how cool their phone is and not trying to score. Because, to them, iPhones are more important then sex.

Just one question:

How did match.com, an online dating site, gather this statistic:

The survey revealed that 72 percent of Android users have visited online dating sites. This compares to just 50 percent of BlackBerry users and 58 percent of iPhone users.

Also, I wonder what happens when you divide the results up by gender? It would be interesting to see whether the "jiggy" rates are the same for both men and women by phone type; I have a hunch, actually, that they are not.

Funny report, Jane.

So in other words Android users target other socially repressed Android nerds and go for broke out of fear of never getting another chance. Of course nothing in this poll suggests that Android users get more then one date to begin with.
