Solved! Swapping lcd screens

i have a ACER Aspire 1363Ci laptop with a busted screen, it's not worth the cost to replace professionally, but i've taken this project for self gratification (hobby), can i use any 15.0 screen or are there rules and or short cuts?

It really doesn't matter about the size of the screen. However, I would recommend sticking with an Acer screen of similar size just so the connections and such are the same. If you need a screen, have a look here:
