Question Is there a way to stop my laptop from recognizing its cracked native screen and substituting in another (still want 2 monitors)

I know I can just use the second monitor as the main screen. Problem is, my workflow requires 2 monitors and my laptop will not support more than 2 monitors.

I need to make it think that a different monitor is its own and still have a 2nd monitor.

I know I might have to open the screen section of the laptop to pull out cables connectors etc.

I can't afford a new computer right now and am just trying to figure out a way to make it work for me still... and paying to get the screen fixed is about the same as it would cost to get a new one aka still too much for me to afford right now.

Every similar thread here and elsewhere is about just using an external monitor as the main monitor etc. And I haven't found anything that will either replace or bypass the native screen so that you can still have 2 working monitors.

Help?

Thanks,
AL
