Hey, I need some advice on buying a digital camera. Budget vs. quality is my main concern. Would any of the three cameras that I chose offer a nice value?

I want to take quality pictures of just random crap that I look at, but I don't want to carry around some bulky camera that would produce better images. Which would you choose?

oh, and are any new cameras coming out soon, or will prices be dropping in the near future? I don't want to regret buying the camera I choose for a few months at least =p

Check Canon SX100is are SD850is at the same price range from where I live. The Canon A720is is $50 less. Both SD850is and A720is have really good reviews and the Canon SX100 is fairly new so there isn't much reviews on that.

They're all good cameras, but you want to take a gamble with the sx100is, you might just wait awhile 'till there's enough review on the SX100is. but if you can't... as of this time the other two are my better choice.
