Synching using bluetooth vs. cable?

What are your opinions on this? Neither of my desktop pcs have BT so I guess
I would need to buy a dongle? Worth the effort or should I just buy an extra
cable?

If you dont move around much while working on your PDA ... I would strictly
suggest a Cable .....
But why do you need an extra cable ?? I guess you have just one PDA rite ?

A cable may be more practical, but where's the fun in that? A BT dongle
is pretty cheap -- check Ebay. I set my PPC up to sync via BT just
because I could.

You also have another option with the 4150 - 802.11b 11mbps wireless.
You can sync over that as well. Wireless access points are getting
almost as cheap as bluetooth dongles. Faster too. 🙂

I use BT to sync my iPAQ (with my HP TabletPC, with built-in BT) and it
works great, really useful for syncing while travelling.

However, I have also bought a USB sync&charge (retractable - cost £10) cable
so I can charge my iPAQ while travelling without having to carry the iPAQ
charger with me. I also do the same thing with a USB charge cable for my
Nokia phone. I am trying to reduce the kit I carry when away from the
office.
